One in seven Americans under age 65 went without prescribed medicines in 2007 as drug costs spiraled upward in the United States, a nonprofit research group said on Thursday.
That figure is up substantially since 2003, when one in 10 people under 65 went without a prescription drug because they couldn’t afford it, according to the Center for Studying Health System Change in Washington, D.C.

Cutting calories could do more than just slim down your waistline.
Researchers from the University of Munster in Germany found reducing what you eat by a third may improve memory, the BBC reported Tuesday.
They analyzed three groups of volunteers on different diets, who had an average age of 60.

Washington (IANS): Offsprings of both lean and obese primate mothers being fed a high-fat diet showed an increased risk of developing non alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).

Kevin Costner was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after the actor began to feel ill while behind the wheel, Access Hollywood has learned.
The actor called 911 after feeling unwell.
“Kevin experienced some light-headedness while he was driving,” a rep for the actor told Access.
