THE MANAGEMENT and leadership at Ennis General Hospital will be examined during the forthcoming independent investigation into the safety of services provided at the hospital, it was confirmed yesterday.

Obesity and lack of fitness raise the risk of illness by impacting negatively on the body’s internal chemistry, research suggests.
A US team found levels of white blood cells were highest in men who were unfit and overweight.

SAN BERNARDINO–Embattled county assessor Bill Postmus returns to work next week ending a medical leave that began in July.
A spokesman expects Postmus will be back at his desk Tuesday after getting final clearance from his doctors.
The nature of his medical situation has not been disclosed.
