Wright County crash leaves 3 dead

Three people died in a single-vehicle crash in rural Wright County Monday morning, according to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 11 a.m. Monday, a motorist passed a vehicle in the ditch on County Road 7 near County Road 35 in Middleville Township, which is in southwestern Wright County. When deputies arrived, they found a 22-year-old male from Waverly, Minn., in the car. He was taken to Buffalo Hospital with unknown injuries.

People who vent their anger or abuse hospital staff have been given a blunt warning by the Royal Hobart Hospital.
A ‘code black’ will be issued, with security officers or police responding.
Signs at Royal Hobart warn people that ‘there is no excuse for abuse”.

Barton man charged after drugs found in ute

A man from Barton will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court this morning to face drugs charges.
ACT Police arrested the 24-year-old man yesterday afternoon in Belconnen after allegedly finding 250 grams of cocaine and 150 ecstasy tablets in the ute he was driving.
He has been charged with trafficking a controlled drug other than cannabis.

Worcester health center a leader in cutting ER use

One of Worcester’s community health centers has achieved the steepest drop in emergency room visits in a state program designed to cut costs and better match patients to the care they need.

Move 'will bolster jobs drive'

COMPULSORY medical insurance for expatriates will make Bahrainis more attractive to employers, a top official declared yesterday.
The current cost of employing Bahrainis is considerably higher than that of employing expatriates, said Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) chief executive Ali Radhi.
