HERCULES — Hercules High School football player Dejon Lloyd suffered a head injury during the teams’s game against Richmond High School and was taken to a hospital Friday night.

A patient at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Jamaica Plain has been indicted on charges that he twice raped a 14-year-old hospital volunteer, prosecutors said yesterday.
Vernon Lee Thompson, 38, is tentatively set to be arraigned Friday in Suffolk Superior Court. A hearing scheduled for yesterday was postponed.
