Doctors at Madrid’s La Paz hospital have declared Seve Ballesteros’s third brain operation a success. TORONTO — Federal health officials say there are now 14 confirmed deaths from a countrywide listeriosis outbreak linked to processed meats.
The latest death is in Ontario, where 12 people now are said to have died as a result of the Listeria strain identified in the outbreak.
No hometown or other details of the case were released.
The other deaths from listeriosis have come in British Columbia and Alberta.
