A late night fire sends one person to the hospital.
Crews from Georgetown and Scott County were called to the River Chase Path Apartments… just after 11 Saturday night after a woman called and said her mattress was on fire.
When they arrived flames and smoke were pouring out the front of one of the units.
Several other units sustained minor smoke damage.

has stopped selling an ovarian cancer screening test that received Food and Drug Administration scrutiny after a loophole allowed it to be marketed without formal FDA approval.
