WHITE HALL, W.Va. (AP) — Fairmont General Hospital has increased the reward being offered for the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for setting fire to its new $13 million fitness center.
The hospital’s $7,500 reward, combined with another reward offered by the West Virginia Arson Hot Line, brings the total to $10,000.

Shriners Hospital for Children in St. Louis has delayed construction of a
campus.
The hospital, led by Administrator John O’Shaughnessy, still plans to build the replacement for its current facility but is delaying construction, which was slated to begin in April, said Tammy Robbins, a hospital spokeswoman.

A 2-year-old who died Friday night from burns due to scalding wasn’t brought to the hospital until 10 hours after his mother first learned the child had been burned, a Denver police report says.
The report also says that Elijah Archuleta had a black eye, as well as severe burns, when his mother and her boyfriend brought him to St. Anthony Central Hospital about 11 Friday night.
