Mineo reiterated his claim Saturday from his bed at the Caledonian Campus of The Brooklyn Hospital Center. WHO warns of mental health gap in poor countries

GENEVA (AP) — The U.N. health agency says at least three in four mental health patients in developing countries receive no treatment.
The World Health Organization wants governments to spend more money on mental health care. It says most countries allocate less than 2 percent of their health budget to mental disorders.
WHO says tens of millions could be treated for a wide range of mental illnesses if countries provide proper care and drugs.

McCready hospitalized for overdose

Nashville police last night said that McCready, whose legal first name is Malinda, called her assistant, Brent Young, at 7:50 a.m. to say she needed him to come over, because “she had done something bad.” Young arrived at 10:15 a.m. “and discovered that she had cut her wrists and taken several pills.” McCready was taken to Centennial Hospital, according to the report.
