Usher's Wife Discharged From Hospital

The wife of R&B superstar Usher has been released from a hospital in Brazil, just days after suffering a heart attack.
Tameka Foster went into cardiac arrest on February 6 as she was being anesthetized prior to having a “routine surgery,” according to Usher’s publicists.
She was placed in an induced coma for 24 hours and transferred to the intensive care unit at Sirio-Libanes Hospital, where her husband joined her.

Former soldiers: Drugs, alcohol, stress may have fueled girl's death

FORT LEWIS, Wash. — Many questions remain unanswered in the mysterious death of a teenage girl in the barracks at the Fort Lewis Army Base. Two former soldiers, however, believe the death resulted from the drugs, alcohol and unrelieved stress that they claim plague the barracks.

Health workers suspended after baby left with stranger

Two health care workers have been suspended and an investigation launched after a newborn baby was left with a stranger at a South Australian airport on Christmas Eve.

Sources: Family Health Center of BC plans expansion

The Family Health Center of Battle Creek is planning a $7.7 million expansion and is seeking community support, according to several sources.
James Reed, FHC board chairman, said the Battle Creek facility on Emmett Street has become saturated with new patients, most of whom have Medicaid or are uninsured, and it needs more space to grow.
