According to the department, officers were called to the Fubar at 306 E. Green St. at 2:04 a.m. because of a fight in progress. At about 2:44 a.m., police said, officers were called to a hospital because a stabbing victim from the incident was being treated.
Police said a “verbal altercation” began among a group of men at Fubar. When the victim allegedly went to assist another man who’d been surrounded by a group of men, he was stabbed.

The ANCD estimates over 100,000 people are homeless every night with a third under the age of 25.

COUPEVILLE, Washington (STPNS) — Whidbey General’s popular chief of staff, Dr. Chris Bibby, is stepping down from his leadership role after two years.
Bibby was acknowledged at a recent hospital board meeting with a long resolution detailing his accomplishments.
Dr. Bruce Waterman will replace him as head of the Medical Executive Committee and chief of staff on Jan. 1 and serve for two years. Bibby was the first to serve a two-year term.

SUNDAY, Nov. 9 (HealthDay News) — Hospitalization rates for heart failure among older Americans have increased dramatically in the past three decades, an epidemic that represents a mounting burden on the health-care system, a new study has found.
