— A fourth person was arrested Tuesday in the case of a kidnapped teen who escaped captivity wearing only boxer shorts and a shackle on his ankle, police said.

Police found her body in a nearby pond.
When her friends went to look for her and couldn’t find her, they called police.

LAS VEGAS—A 24-year-old Las Vegas man has died from injuries suffered when he lost control of his vehicle.
Las Vegas police responded to the crash at nearly 4 a.m. Thursday near an intersection in eastern Las Vegas.

FARGO – A Mahnomen County (Minn.) Sheriff’s deputy who suffered gunshot wounds Wednesday has been moved out of the critical care unit of Fargo’s MeritCare Hospital and into a surgical unit.
Chris Dewey remains in guarded condition, according to an update made today on the hospital’s Web site.
