Update: Injured Delek Refining worker released from hospital

Brett Wells, 43 was taken to Mother Francis Hospital Thursday afternoon for observation.  KLTV has been told he was released from the hospital around 7:00 p.m. Thursday.  Wells suffered minor burns to his arms and the back of his neck. 
As for the patient at ETMC, officials say he remains in good condition and will stay overnight for observation after suffering from smoke inhalation.

Brookhaven hospital closing maternity unit

FDA Approves Gout Drug

Seattle – Takeda Pharmaceuticals created Uloric to treat gout.

Judge dismisses lawsuits in Medtronic heart device case

Citing a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision, a federal judge in St. Paul on Monday dismissed dozens of lawsuits filed by patients who claimed they were injured by a heart device made by Medtronic Inc.
The patients were implanted with an electrical lead used in a defibrillator system known as Sprint Fidelis made by the Fridley-based medical technology company.
