MUNCIE, Ind. – Indianapolis-based Clarian Health has signed
a letter of intent to take over the medical group that owns Ball
Memorial Hospital in Muncie and Blackford Community Hospital in
Hartford City.
The unanimous approval by the boards of Clarian and Cardinal
Health System on Monday could lead to completing the merger by the
end of the year.

BOSTON (Reuters) – Newer “atypical” drugs for schizophrenia and other mental problems, which are supposed to be safer, may in fact carry a greater risk of a fatal heart attack than older medicines, researchers said on Wednesday.
