Montreal police are investigating an incident involving one of their own officers who allegedly went into a local gym, barricaded himself in an office, took out his gun and began firing into the ceiling and walls.
Witnesses said the officer walked into Pro Gym, a 24-hour fitness centre, shortly after midnight on Tuesday and began acting erratically.

FDA to meet to review Sanofi-Aventis heart drug

The Food and Drug Administration has scheduled a meeting to review an experimental drug from
aimed at treating dangerous irregular heart rhythms.
The FDA said its panel of cardiology experts will meet March 18 to assess the drug dronedarone. The agency is not required to follow the advice of its outside experts, though it often does. If approved, Sanofi plans to market the drug under the brand name Multaq.

High Insulin May Boost Odds of Breast Cancer
