People wowed by technology, size of White County hospital

MONTICELLO — Fuchsia Heglin already had a chance to try out the new White County Memorial Hospital’s emergency room last week. She was impressed.

Stimulus package punts on health care reform

The Lee Memorial Blood Center is calling on donors to once again help offset possible blood shortages.

4 dead in shooting-arson in NJ apartment building

IRVINGTON, N.J. (AP) — Authorities who rushed to a burning home Monday morning found three people dead and a fourth fatally wounded, and said the fire apparently was set to cover up a shooting.
Two of the victims were teens who were shot in the head.
