Arrow wounds man, police shoot alleged assailant

HOUSTON
— A Houston office worker was shot with an arrow before police shot his alleged assailant.
Police say 30-year-old Julie Parker entered the Texas Components Corp. in west Houston about 3 p.m. Monday with a bow, arrows and what proved to be a toy handgun. An employee confronted the woman, who dropped the toy gun but shot an arrow into the chest of 55-year-old Armando Silva.
