The director of Cherry Hospital will leave the beleaguered mental health facility at the end of the month, officials said Friday.
Dr. Jack St. Clair, who has headed Cherry Hospital for the past three years, has been offered a transfer to Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center, where he will serve as business manager, officials said.

The ruling coalition bloc is considering extending the current extraordinary Diet session by about 25 days until around Dec. 25, The Yomiuri Shimbun has learned.

EQUIPMENT to treat cancer patients at The Alfred hospital in Melbourne has been used after hours on pets for 17 years without the Victorian Government’s knowledge or approval.
After a Sunday newspaper reported that 22 animals had been treated at the hospital’s William Buckland Radiation Centre since 2005, it emerged that the practice had been going on for much longer.
