Medical marijuana hard to find in western Colorado

GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado — It’s not always easy being green. Medical marijuana is legal in Colorado, but there’s nowhere to get it on the Western Slope.
That leaves hundreds of people facing four-hour drives to a dispensary if they’re too sick to grow their own plants.
Of the more than 5,000 medical marijuana users in Colorado, hundreds live in the Western Slope, said Brian Vicente of the advocacy group Sensible Colorado.

Mom, son busted for allegedly selling drugs to juveniles

An alleged mother-and-son prescription drug dealing team were arrested by Cottonwood Heights police on Friday.
    Their Oxycontin customers were mainly juveniles, some as young as 15, said Cottonwood Heights police officer Beau Babka.
    Police have talked to about 24 people who allegedly came from all over the Salt Lake Valley to buy drugs.

£13m drugs seized as police crack down on serious crime

Fitness guru cleared of causing fatal crash

AFL fitness guru and Melbourne sports identity Daniel Michael Lynch broke down and wept today as a jury cleared him of any responsibility for a fatal road crash.
Mr Lynch, 31, of Gladstone, was yesterday acquitted of one count of causing death, and two of causing bodily harm, by dangerous driving.
