The parents of the 13-year-old Southfield boy left in Nebraska under the state’s expansive and controversial safe haven law have temporarily lost custody of their three other children, an Oakland County probate referee ruled Thursday.

More than 150 women (and one man) attended a free “Women at Heart” series of seminars Thursday night to promote women’s heart health.
The event was sponsored by Woodland Healthcare and held at the Woodland Community Center.
