2-alarm fire at Montrose apartment sends 2 to hospital

Arson investigators are trying to determine what caused a two-alarm fire that sent two people to the hospital at a Montrose-area apartment complex Monday evening, authorities said.
When firefighters arrived the saw fire coming from the ground floor and second story of an apartment in the complex in the 1900 block of Colquitt around 9 p.m., said Houston Fire Department Deputy Fire Chief Terry Stone.

Jeong Hyo-jeen, a 30-year-old office worker in Seoul, is one of the city’s many bike enthusiasts. She has commuted to work by bicycle almost every day for the last four years.

One in Three Cancer Survivors on Unemployment Line

TUESDAY, Feb. 17 (HealthDay News) — As if fighting cancer wasn’t hard enough, a new Dutch study concludes that one in three people who survive the ordeal won’t be able to find a job.
The meta-analysis of more than 20,000 cancer survivors found that 33.8 percent of those who’d battled cancer were out of work vs. 15.2 percent of healthy people.
