CMU medical school still on track

Michael Rao has announced he is leaving as president of
Central Michigan University five months after he convinced
the Board of Trustees to found a $30 million to $50 million
medical school.
Rao said Saturday in a conference call with reporters that
he is committed to signing clinical affiliation agreements
– before he leaves — with area hospitals to host students
in their third and fourth years of hands-on medical

Girls run focus sessions on fitness

J&J, Vanderbilt Team Up on Schizophrenia Drugs

In an unusually extensive collaboration between an academic institution and a drug maker, Vanderbilt University will partner with Johnson & Johnson to develop new drugs to treat schizophrenia.

Police say 9 Lenoir City High students caught with prescription drugs

LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (WVLT) — As a parent you don’t want to think about it, but drugs can show up at your child’s high school anytime.
