China warns of 'possibly rising' toll from tainted baby formula

The Chinese Health Ministry warned Tuesday of a possible rise in the number of babies affected by the contaminated milk powder that has already been linked to the deaths of two infants and to health problems in more than 1,200others.

Missing mother, infant return to Toronto hospital

The missing mother of a sick nine-month old infant resurfaced Sunday morning: Police say Erica Caines, 22, returned to the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children where she once again refused to hand over her child to doctors.
The woman and the child’s father were later arrested. Charges of obstruction are likely, police said.
