NEW YORK (Associated Press) – Home nursing provider Amedisys Inc. said Monday it agreed to buy six home health locations from Home Health Corp. of America for an undisclosed amount.
The agreement includes two agencies each in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. Amedisys said the six locations reported approximately $23 million in revenue for the 12 months ended June 30, but the buyout will not raise its profits significantly in 2008.
