pedestrian, fleeing
A City of Buffalo snowplow driver was arrested for drunken driving after striking a pedestrian on Kensington Avenue early Friday, then fleeing the scene, Buffalo police said.
The victim, identified as Allen M. Andrew, 42, of East Amherst Street, was listed in critical condition at Erie County Medical Center late Friday.
The driver, Rowan S. Gaines, 44, of Amherst, was charged with driving while intoxicated.

Bus rolls over in Mich.; children among 10 hurt
NORTHFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — A bus has rolled over near Ann Arbor, Mich., and children are among the 10 people injured.
Huron Valley Ambulance spokeswoman Joyce Williams says the victims in Thursday’s crash are being taken to University of Michigan Hospital.
Their conditions were not immediately available but Williams says nine of the victims need immediate medical attention.

Fitness company to expand Va. facility
RICHMOND, Va. — Fitness machine maker Nautilus is expanding its Grayson County, Va., manufacturing facility, creating 60 jobs.
Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine said Thursday the $1.7 million expansion will add a cardio exercise equipment line to the company’s manufacturing operations.
