BELLEVILLE, N.J. – A Belleville police officer seriously
injured in a crash that killed her partner has been released from
the hospital.
Melissa Corrado sustained head and rib injuries in the two-car
crash that occurred Saturday morning in neighboring Nutley. She was
taken to University Medical Center and went home on Sunday.

THE National Drug Authority (NDA) has acquired five mini-laboratories and computer equipment to detect fake drugs.
Speaking during the handover of the equipment worth $49,000 (sh88.2m) by the World Health Organisation (WHO) last week, Apollo Muhairwe, the NDA executive secretary, said cases of counterfeit drugs were decreasing following the acquisition of the new equipment.

Developer Cypress Equities said Wednesday that it has leased space to LA Fitness in its new Shops at Mockingbird development near Dallas Love Field.
The fitness center will take almost half of the 78,000-square-foot retail project, which is under construction near Mockingbird Lane and Lemmon Avenue.
