Board considers campus-based health clinic

ST. GEORGE, Utah — Talks between the Washington County School Board and Intermountain Healthcare could bring a community health clinic to a southern Utah elementary school campus.
The Washington Elementary School-based clinic would serve students and the community, setting fees base on a sliding scale.

Medical Errors in Chemotherapy Medications

A recent investigation into medical errors in adults and children taking chemotherapy medications found that 7 percent of adults and 19 percent of children who were taking these drugs to fight cancer were given the wrong dose or had some other error in their medication.

Cole resting after hospital stay

Grammy-winning singer Natalie Cole is resting at her home in Los Angeles, following a spell in hospital.
The 58-year-old sought medical help in New York after suffering health problems stemming from the hepatitis C virus, her spokeswoman said.
The daughter of crooner Nat King Cole cancelled her October tour dates and other appearances after spending about a week in the hospital in September.
The singer was diagnosed in July after a routine examination.
