VINELAND — Officers seized a number of vehicles and found pit bulls and drugs in a Dante Avenue home where a cocaine dealer was shot Tuesday, Vineland police said Thursday.
Police are still investigating the Tuesday night shooting of a city man in the 2600 block of Dante Avenue.

According to a Bartow Police Department report, police officers responded around 11:10 p.m. Wednesday to the XYZ Liquor Store at 295 U.S. Highway 17 regarding an injured person. When they arrived, police found Jamard West, 24, shot in the head.
West was taken by Polk County Emergency Medical Services to Lakeland Regional Medical Center, where he died from his injury.

Lance Atkinson, a
citizen living in Australia, and Jody Smith of Texas, are accused of false advertising and selling non-FDA approved medications.
