The Health and Human Services Department has released an updated, standards-compliant version of a Web-based family history heath tool that can feed information into electronic health records.
The new version of the Surgeon General’s My Family Health Portrait will make it easier for consumers to create and share family health history information, HHS said. The first version of the tool, released in 2004, was not based on standards.
