Raid seizes drugs worth £100000

Drugs worth £100,000 have been seized at a Teesside flat after police stopped a man with £32,000 of cash in his car.
Officers from Cleveland Police stopped a man on the A689 near Hartlepool and discovered the cash, which lead to the search of a flat in Ingleby Barwick.
Police found what they believed was class A drugs, including crack cocaine and amphetamines, at the property in Hadleigh Walk on Thursday.

A THIRD of women in labour have been turned away from a Blue Mountains hospital because of a lack of medical specialists at its newly “reopened” birthing service. The centre opened last month after closing temporarily due to staff shortages.
