Stanford unveils designs for new hospital and children's hospital

The public will get a close look today at the future of Stanford Hospitals and Clinics, where a proposed expansion will change the profile of the campus, boost traffic but also expand access to life-saving medical care.

When it comes to men’s health, steer clear of Jacksonville.
So say the editors of Men’s Health magazine, which in its January/February edition ranked our fair city No. 92 out of America’s top 100 largest cities for men’s health. The issue reached newsstands last Tuesday.

Forget about giving birth to five bundles of joy – try naming ‘em.
The Staten Island mom of quintuplets Monday said she and her husband had been told to expect three boys and two girls.
The couple had to shift gears when she had four girls and just one boy.

FDA finds ADHD medication can cause hallucinations in children

A recently released study from the Food and Drug Administration has found that children who take medication for ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) can suffer from hallucinations.
, researchers concluded that drugs for ADHD can cause “psychosis and mania in some patients” even when taken as directed.

Philadelphia Hospital Uses Therapeutic Hypothermia in Pediatric Cases

Crash sends 3 to hospital

HOPE – RCMP say speeding and not wearing seat belts have put three people in hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries after a rollover on Highway 7.
RCMP Fraser Valley Traffic Services said in a release the three Hope residents were in a 1994 BMWi when a second vehicle pulled out of a roadway and into the path of the BMW.
