EL PASO — The lessons from a crash course in diet and exercise last week for Clint Independent School District elementary students weren’t lost on third-grader Ashley Murguia, who didn’t miss a beat when asked about ways to maintain good health and exercise.

An estimated 4 million Americans have lost their health insurance since the recession began, and as many as 14,000 people could be losing their health coverage every day, according to a report by the
Action Fund.

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) – A 3-year-old who was treated for smoke inhalation following a morning fire near downtown Omaha has been released from the hospital.
But her parents are still being treated.
A spokesman for the Nebraska Medical Center says the girl’s parents, a 50-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, are in critical condition. They both suffered burns in the fire.
