Hyperinflation, cholera, politics curse Zimbabwe
HARARE, Zimbabwe (AP) — Sibongile Mlilo says it’s not hard to think Zimbabwe is cursed — mired in political deadlock, the economy in tatters and hundreds of people dying of cholera.

In fact, I haven’t done much for my health at all in the past 10 days.
I’ve had a cold, and between that and staying busy at work, I’ve completely dropped the ball on my fitness program. I also Read the rest of this entry »

14 drugs that need more study

Risperidone (Risperdal) is one of 14 widely-prescribed medications (listed below) that needs more evidence for off-label use, according to

Researchers link ED among young men to heart disease

Post-Bulletin, Rochester MN
Researchers at Mayo Clinic in Rochester say young men with erectile dysfunction are twice as likely to develop heart disease as men who are able to have erections.
“Overall we found that the men in our study who had erectile dysfunction were about 80 percent more likely to go on to develop coronary disease than the men who didn’t have erectile dysfunction,” epidemiologist Jenny St. Sauver said in a telephone interview.
