BAGHDAD (AFP) — The family of an Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at US President George W. Bush demonstrated for a second day on Saturday to demand his release from custody.

Paradise Elementary wins fitness challenge

Paradise Elementary students cheered Thursday morning when the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports awarded the school with $5,000 for winning the 2008 Governor’s Challenge Regional Award.
