AURORA, Ill. — A Carmel man was piloting a medical helicopter that crashed as it was ferrying a 1-year-old girl to a Chicago hospital, killing all four people aboard.
John Brannen with the National Transportation Safety Board said the helicopter apparently clipped a support wire for a 734-foot-tall radio tower before the crash, which happened about midnight Wednesday.
