Totten preliminary autopsy report released

FORT WALTON BEACH — Associate Medical Examiner Cameron Snider was unable to determine Wednesday what killed former Fort Walton Beach High School coach Ray Totten.
An autopsy revealed “no apparent sign of traumatic injury or violence” but did indicate the “presence of a natural disease,” said Jeff Martin, director of the Medical Examiner’s Office in Okaloosa County.

New study on rural HIV care has economic and health implications

BLOOMINGTON: An Indiana University study found that HIV care providers in rural Indiana report significant stigma and discrimination in the rural medical referral system surrounding issues of HIV and substance abuse. Two stabbed in local fight at restaurant

WACO – Two men were stabbed early Sunday morning outside of a Whataburger restaurant.
Witnesses say two groups of men were arguing inside the Whataburger on the 1500 block of Hewitt Drive.
The fight spilled out into the parking lot.  Juan Castillo, 23, and Adrian Chaires, 17, were both stabbed in the chest during that brawl.
Police arrived around 4:30 a.m. to deal with the fight but when they got there no one was left.

Two more held over father murder

Police investigating the murder of a father at a bus stop in south London have arrested two more men.
John Nii Kacsu Abbey, 26, a local boxer known to friends as King, was stabbed in Croydon on Thursday evening in front of his three-year-old daughter.
