Munhall woman's body found

The search for a missing Munhall woman ended tragically Saturday evening.
Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office officials confirmed Mary Anne Kacin, 57, was found around 7:30 p.m. in McBride Park in Lincoln Place, approximately three miles from her home along Botsford Street.
An autopsy was conducted Sunday. A medical examiner said an official cause and manner of death could not be determined until results of toxicology tests are received.

Police officer shot in Rochester; Paterson visits hospital

Around 3:45 p.m. today, police scanners reported that a female Rochester police officer was shot in the area of Dayton and Fairbanks streets, near Hudson Avenue, according to the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. Other police officers and emergency responders then responded to the crime scene.
Hudson Avenue northbound from Avenue D is blocked off at least a quarter of a mile.

MIAMI (AP) — An assault rifle was used in a Friday night shooting in northwest Miami, killing two people and injuring seven, police said Saturday.

Gilbert hospital celebrates anniversary today

Braden Palacios created quite the stir when he was born Sept. 5 at Banner Gateway Medical Center.
His older sister was born at Banner Gateway in November of last year making their mother Alicia Palacios the first to have two separate babies at the Gilbert hospital.
