One of the world’s richest actors, Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan, is in a Mumbai hospital after suffering severe abdominal pain over the weekend.
A family statement says Bachchan is in the Lilavati Hospital and will be there for the next two days undergoing tests.

Osteoporosis Drug Prompts Increase in Certain Bone Cells

WEDNESDAY, Dec. 31 (HealthDay News) — Women who took the osteoporosis drug Fosamax for up to three years saw an increase in their number of osteoclasts, or cells that remove old, brittle bone, a new study says.

Car-train crash puts woman in hospital

CALGARY — Crashing into a C-train sent a woman to hospital with life-threatening injuries yesterday.
The woman, in her mid-20s, was the only occupant of a Dodge Neon that collided with the light rail train at 7 Avenue and Macleod Trail S.E. about 9:45 a.m.
