Study: Elective C-section babies born before 39th week face risks

House fire sends family, firefighters to hospital

A house fire on the Detroit-Hamtramck border sent two firefighters and five members of the family who lived there to the hospital this morning, according to reports.
The family who lived in the home on Frederick Street near Joseph Campau Street apparently got out of the house after the fire began just before 7 a.m., Detroit Fire Squad 3 Lt. John Cowan said. Lismore doctor under NSW Health scrutiny

MARK COLVIN: Health Authorities in New South Wales are investigating complaints by 11 women about an overseas trained gynaecologist at the Lismore Base Hospital between 2001 and 2005.
One of the women made her complaint about Dr Roman Hasil back in 2003 and the local area health service has since apologised for not following up on that complaint properly.
After working in Lismore, Dr Hasil worked in New Zealand and Queensland.

Mission Manor students gear up for fitness contest against Phoenix

They are 300 students on a mission.
Get fit, teach others about eating smart – and win the rematch of the Operation Tone Up contest against a Phoenix school they beat last year.
All the students in the third, fourth and fifth grades at Mission Manor Elementary School spend 20 to 30 minutes a day four days a week exercising.
