TACOMA, Wash. — The parents of a mentally ill man who killed himself at Western State Hospital in Lakewood, near Tacoma, have filed two lawsuits against the state.
The lawsuits by Marcos and Phyllis Gordon of Montesano, Grays Harbor County, claim staff members at the psychiatric hospital didnВ’t do enough to protect 27-year-old Anthony Gordon and falsified a report to cover up mistakes.
