A television newswoman who had a small role in the movie W died several days after she was found beaten in her home, hospital officials have said.
Anne Pressly, 26, died at St Vincent Infirmary Medical Centre, hospital spokeswoman Margaret Preston said.
Ms Pressly was beaten around the head, face and neck. She had been unable to communicate with her family or police while being kept sedated in the intensive care unit.

FAIRHAVEN — A town woman faces child endangerment charges for allegedly leaving her young daughter and two friends alone while she met a man in New Bedford to buy drugs.
