New plan insures against losing health insurance

Think of it as insurance for your health insurance.
For workers who lose their employer-sponsored health-care coverage, a first-of-its-kind product from Indianapolis-based Golden Rule Insurance Co. could kick in and save the day.
The plan allows workers currently covered by another policy — and possibly fearing a layoff — to pay a monthly fee for the right to enroll in a Golden Rule policy should they become uninsured.

New Women's Health Center set for ribbon-cutting

Located at Bond Clinic’s satellite office at 199 Ave. B, N.W., the new Women’s Health Center offers not only obstetrics and gynecological services, but aesthetic services such as microdermabrasion, facial rejuvenation, massages, laser services and botox.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Opening arguments are under way in Kentucky in the retrial of two former lawyers accused of bilking clients of millions of dollars from a diet drug settlement.

Six quizzed over man's death

Six people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a 20-year-old man, police said.
The man was seriously injured in an incident in Hook, Hampshire, and died in hospital. Unconfirmed reports said he had been stabbed.
