Men’s Health Magazine has just released its rankings of the best cities for men to live in this year.
Turns out Hartford’s not half bad. Out of 100 cities, the Capitol City ranked 25 overall.
Health: This included male death rates from heart disease and cancer.
Habitat: The city’s standard of living, assessing crime, job growth and air quality.
Fitness: This was a study of how hard and how often men worked out.

Crash traps passenger, sends all involved to hospital

A car crash on one of the Fargo-area’s busiest roads trapped a passenger, and sent three people to the hospital with injuries Saturday.
It happened at the intersection of 13th Avenue South, and 17th Street East in West Fargo, shortly after 3:30pm. Iran discovers 3 tons of drugs daily: police chief

TEHRAN – National Police Chief Brigadier General Esmaeil Ahmadi Moqaddam said on Sunday that every day three tons of drugs are discovered in Iran.
He said drug production is on the rise in Afghanistan and is currently two times more than demand. Unfortunately foreign troops and other responsible authorities have failed to curb drug cultivation in the country, he added.

Accident Sends Three to the Hospital

A traffic accident in Philippi sent three people to the hospital, the West Virginia State Police says.
A pickup truck was traveling west on Chestnut Ridge Road, when it hit a patch of black ice, according to troopers.
The driver of the truck is said to have lost control of the truck and gone over an embankment before crashing into a house.
All three passengers were flown via helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Pfizer To Snap Up Wyeth For $68 Bln

(RTTNews) – Rumors of a potential merger between drug giant Pfizer Inc. (
) have been doing the rounds since 2007. Now, it’s no more a rumor. It’s real and Pfizer is all set to acquire Wyeth in a $68 billion deal.
Monday, Pfizer announced that it has agreed to acquire Wyeth in a cash-and-stock transaction currently valued at $50.19 per share, or a total of about $68 billion. The Boards of Directors of both companies have approved the combination.

Three appear in Cork court over drugs seizure

Three Britons appeared at a special court sitting last night charged over the 1.7-tonne cocaine haul seized from a yacht off the Co Cork coast.
Philip Doo (52) and David Mufford (44), both from Devon, and Christopher Wiggins (42), who has been living in Spain’s Costa del Sol, were charged at Clonakilty District Court with attempting to import the drugs, valued at more than €650 million.
