Firearms and drugs arrests made

Two Scottish men have been arrested in connection with a major drugs and firearms investigation in the north west of England.
The pair were detained on suspicion of conspiracy to import class A and B drugs and firearms and ammunition.
The 31-year-old from Dundee and 42-year-old from Glenrothes were arrested in Scotland.
They will be questioned in Preston by officers from Lancashire Constabulary’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit.

Life Time Fitness shedding 100 jobs at Chanhassen HQ

Life Time Fitness of Chanhassen is making the first layoffs in its 16-year history as part of an overall staff reduction of about 12 percent at its corporate headquarters.
