A Hope Mills woman has been charged with selling drugs prescribed to her for a disability, authorities said Friday.
Cumberland County investigators said Deshana Maria Melvin, 33, of 4038 William Bill Luther Drive, sold her medications to undercover agents. Cheektowaga police shut down two lanes of the outbound Kensington Expressway for about five hours Tuesday after a two-car crash near the Pine Ridge Road exit.
The crash happened at about 10:50 a. m., and an ambulance passing near the scene was flagged down, said Rural/ Metro Medical Services spokesman Jay Smith.
