Morristown Police arrest 5 on drugs and weapons charges

Morristown Police Department detectives arrested five people Friday evening on drugs and weapons charges following an investigation lasting several months, according to a press release from Morristown Chief of Police Roger Overholt.

Health department closes Galion restaurant

GALION — The Galion Health Department has closed a restaurant because of repeated failed inspections and “recurrent critical violations” since 2005, according to a summary of health inspections.
The department closed M-R Family Restaurant, 741 Portland Way South, on Monday after an administrative hearing deemed it unsafe for patrons. The department also permanently revoked the food operating license of owner Nazif Qorri, a resident of Mansfield.

FDA approves shortened anthrax-vaccine course
