Myriad Genetics, Inc. (NASDAQ: MYGN)
today reported financial results for the second quarter of fiscal 2009 and
the six months ended December 31, 2008.
For the second quarter of fiscal 2009, the Company recorded a net profit of
$21.2 million, or $0.46 basic earnings per share ($0.43 diluted earnings
per share), compared to a net loss of $5.1 million and loss per share of

FDA approves BioImagene device Silicon Valley / San Jose Business

said Wednesday it received clearance from the Food and Drug Administration for its Pathiam System with iScan for assessment of HER2/neu immunohistochemistry tests.

First child fatality resulting from it in state this winter

A 12-year-old Boston Latin Academy student died over the weekend from complications of the flu, Boston school and public health officials confirmed yesterday, one of only a handful of deaths nationwide so far this flu season.
