More May Benefit From Cholesterol Drugs

Jan. 13, 2009 — Eight out of 10 middle-aged and older Americans may benefit from treatment with
-lowering statin drugs, a new analysis suggests.

Family sues Itasca nursing home after woman dies

ITASCA, Ill. – The family of an 89-year-old woman who was

Fitch boosts debt rating for University of Colorado Hospital

Fitch Ratings said Tuesday it has upgraded its ratings of University of Colorado Hospital Authority's bond debt to A- from BBB+, with a positive outlook.
The move follows an upgrade in January by Moody’s Investors Service, to A3 from Baa1, of debt held by the authority that owns the Aurora hospital.
Chicago-based Fitch said its rating applies to $542 million of bonds outstanding.

Generic drugs save NNY residents $14.55 million in one year

Generic prescription drugs continue to be filled at pharmacies throughout the state, leaving more brand name drugs on the shelves, saving consumers millions of dollars each year.
