Authorities in the Fox Valley say they’re becoming increasingly concerned that armed robbers are targeting prescription drugs instead of money as the value of the medications increases.

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – Salem, N.H., police are looking for two men after an armed robbery at a local drug store.
Police say two men wearing sunglasses, hooded sweat shirts, masks and gloves entered the front door of the Salem Medicine Shoppe around 6 p.m. on Thursday. 1 of the suspects showed a gun and demanded prescription drugs. Fort Collins police say two men armed with a handgun pushed their way into a home on the 3600 block of Big Dipper Drive on Sunday night, demanding drugs from the couple who live there.
In a news release, police spokeswoman Rita Davis said the two people living at the home are listed on the state’s medical marijuana registry and are permitted to have small amounts of pot for medical reasons.
