An autopsy of a 7-year-old Easley boy revealed Saturday that he died of massive bleeding from being badly beaten with a broom or mop handle, an Anderson County deputy coroner said.

The search for a missing Munhall woman ended tragically Saturday evening.
Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office officials confirmed Mary Anne Kacin, 57, was found around 7:30 p.m. in McBride Park in Lincoln Place, approximately three miles from her home along Botsford Street.

French researchers said they have discovered a drug that “tricks the body into burning off fat,” regardless of the body’s diet, BBC News reported.
