China Medical Technologies Purchases HPV Chip and SPR System from

will acquire Molecular Diagnostics Technologies’ HPV-DNA biosensor chip and surface plasmon resonance (SPR) based analysis system for about $345 million. The fee will be paid in installments with the final payment to be made one year after the closing of the acquisition, which is expected in December 2008 or January 2009.
The HPV chip is a label-free DNA chip for the diagnosis of HPV infection and genotyping of HPV. Read the rest of this entry »
